Winter in New Brunswick

Here in New Brunswick we are reaching the end of our autumn season and will soon be in winter. No matter where a person came from, this time of the year means a number of things: Cooler temperatures, Snow, Holiday seasons, and new experiences. Every winter brings something new to people; no matter if you are new to Canada or a person who has been here all their lives, every winter will make new memories.
If you have never felt a snowflake touch your face, once you have, you will find this is a very exciting and refreshing time of the year. No matter if you are experiencing winter through the eyes of the older generation, young child or newer comer, there is something about winter that draws upon past memories, imaginations, dreams and romance.
Here in New Brunswick we are fortunate to have snow filled winters, with mild temperatures, that make for a lifetime of exciting beautiful memories, which you will always cherish and enjoy. New Brunswick has the most sunshine throughout the winter months than any other province and of the maritime provinces we experience the most amount of snow contributing to a thriving tourist industry and keeps our winter temperatures mild compared to other parts of Canada.

When a person sees snow falling from the sky and covering the ground for the first time in their lives, something magical happens. You become a child at heart. You want to run in it, touch it, throw it, make things out of it, and yes, sometimes eat it!! If you happen to be a parent or a grandparent, snow still brings back memories of your childhood and makes you want to experience and share in those exhilarating moments with your children (Grandchildren).
Winter can refresh and energies you in ways you cannot imagine, through the crisp fresh air, to the activities that can only be enjoyed during the winter months. The following are a few examples of those activities:

Just as in any season there are thing that need to be done around the house and yard. (Summer and Spring months cutting the grass, Autumn months prepare your car and house for winter, Winter months removing snow from driveways and walkways) but in all seasons you should take time to enjoy your family and friends as well as the environment in which you live. Therefore, use this time to explore and experience new activities and family fun. Go out, breath the clean cool air and let yourself be free in this new winter wonderland and make those memories that will last a lifetime.
